The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Participates in the Event of the SouthWestern Energy Cluster



In the SENA facilities the Student Fair of the electric energy sector was organized by the Energy Corps, with support from SENA, CIDET and Companies of the Calculation of Southwestern Energy.

It must be noticed that the Southwestern Energy Cluster of Colombia was born in 2013, led by Universidad del Valle and has as its mission to promote initiatives that encourage the development of the electric power chain of the Colombian South West, and it is made up of 17 different companies.

The event aimed to promote the electric power sector as a professional and work option. It had an assistance of 1349 10th grade and graduate level students from different schools in the city and 654 instructors and apprentices from the SENA.



The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Universidad del Valle has presented itself with a stand, in which some projects have been presented by students of Electrical and Electronic Engineering undergraduate and postgraduate. Showing the social and developmental impact of the Faculty of Engineering in the region and the country.
